1. Terms of Service & Single-Entity Commercial License
Chicago Commercial Permit Dispatch provides an ongoing weekly commercial data aggregation service extracting and structuring public municipal records filed with the City of Chicago.
Single-Entity Internal Commercial License: Purchase of a monthly subscription grants the subscribing company or individual a non-exclusive, non-transferable internal commercial license. You are fully authorized to utilize the compiled data (.xlsx and .csv files) for internal sales estimation, general contractor outreach, corporate subcontracting, market research, and direct trade solicitation.
RESTRICTION: Sublicensing, reselling, syndicating, or publicly republishing the raw weekly municipal datasets in bulk or through competing data directories is strictly prohibited.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Subscription Billing: Service is billed at a fixed rate of $49.00 USD per month. Subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days unless canceled by the subscriber.
1-Click Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time without fee or lock-in period through your self-service subscriber portal hosted on Polar.sh or by emailing billing support at samuelortega1601@gmail.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
Digital Consumable Delivery: Because weekly data files and spreadsheet archives are delivered immediately upon publication and constitute consumable proprietary commercial intelligence, fees for past cycles already dispatched are non-refundable.
48-Hour Billing Dispute Resolution Guarantee: If you believe a billing error, unauthorized charge, or duplicate transaction occurred, please contact samuelortega1601@gmail.com before filing a bank dispute. Verified billing errors are resolved and refunded in full within 48 business hours.
3. Municipal Source Attribution & FOIA Disclaimer
All building permit filings, declared valuations, contractor classifications, and project descriptions originate from the City of Chicago Department of Buildings public repository under the terms of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the City of Chicago Open Data Ordinance.
While our automated pipelines perform validation, deduplication, and address cleaning, records reflect disclosures made by applicants to the municipality. Chicago Commercial Permit Dispatch is not responsible for delayed municipal postings, applicant reporting errors, or subsequent municipal permit revocations.
